Microsoft Edge
Visual picker, compact text editing, persistent rules and the on-device AI preview.
Download Edge ZIP- Extract the entire ZIP.
- Open
edge://extensionsand enable Developer mode. - Choose Load unpacked, then select the extracted folder containing
manifest.json. - Open a normal website, allow site access and use the PageCraft toolbar button.
Keep the extracted folder. This is a local preview, not an Edge Add-ons listing. On-device AI currently needs supported hardware and the experimental Prompt API in Edge Dev or Canary. Ordinary page editing works without AI.
Safari on Mac
Visual picker, compact text editing, persistent text rules, CSS and static HTML. Requires Safari 18.4 or later.
Download Safari ZIP- In Safari Settings → Advanced, enable Show features for web developers.
- Open Settings → Developer → Add Temporary Extension….
- Select the ZIP or extracted folder, respond to Safari’s authentication prompt, then enable PageCraft under Extensions.
- Allow access to the websites you want to edit.
Temporary installation ends after 24 hours or when Safari quits. Export your rules before ending the test. Permanent installation requires Apple packaging and distribution; this ZIP is not a signed Mac app.
AI, custom JavaScript and rules referencing local file paths are unavailable in this Safari port. iPhone and iPad are not included in this desktop release.

Choose an element, edit its text, then press Ctrl+Enter on Windows or Command+Enter on Mac to save. Escape cancels. Rules reapply while the extension is installed, enabled and permitted on the site. Changes affect your browser view only.
Automated checks passed: 191 tests for Edge and 120 for Safari. Real Edge, Safari and model testing is still needed on compatible devices; this release does not claim browser-store approval.
Permanent Safari distribution
An enrolled Apple Developer account can upload the Safari ZIP to the current Safari Web Extension Packager in App Store Connect, select macOS, test through TestFlight and submit for App Store review. Apple’s online packager does not require Xcode or a Mac to package the resources. That signing and distribution step has not been completed for this preview.
Your data
Saved rules and settings stay in your browser profile. PageCraft has no publisher analytics or cloud AI backend. Edge AI runs locally when available. Rules and backups can contain URLs, original text and replacement text. Remote resources or Edge custom scripts that you choose may contact their respective hosts.
